Q: What’s so different about the compensation plan at Nextage?
It’s unique because it shatters the notion that there are limitations on an agent's earning potential. All of our agents work towards shared goals in a team environment. We help brokers and agents build a business, not just do business™. Our model provides consistent financial returns through a team-oriented environment. The videos provided for you here featuring Nextage Realty President, Dave Wild, will explain the compensation plan in more detail.
Q: What if I don’t currently hold an active license? Can I still join Nextage?
Yes, you can. You may join Nextage as a non-licensed agent, but you will not be able to receive any sales bonuses on your team’s production until you receive your license, and gain affiliation with a Nextage Realty Office. If you do not obtain a real estate license and join a Nextage Realty office within one year, your application will be removed from our system.
Q: What if I join now -- am I committing to becoming a Nextage agent?
If there is a Nextage Realty office in your local area, you need to become affiliated with with that office within one year. If there is no Nextage Realty office in your metro area, you can still join us and start building your team in other areas of your state, or across the country. However, if a Nextage office opens in your area, you must affiliate with that Nextage office.
Q: What is I have I’m licensed, but with another company. Can joining Nextage put me in jeopardy?
Since you’re just applying to become a member, and would not become active until you are officially accepted and join a Nextage Realty office, it will not affect your current license. At the time that you are approved, you must transfer your license to a Nextage office in your area to become eligible to receive sales bonuses.
Q: What about just doing referrals? Does Nextage allow me to place my license with them if I don’t want to actively list and sell real estate?
Yes, there are independent companies that have been approved by Nextage and will provide you with this opportunity. Limited Function Referral Organizations or “LIFROs,” allow agents to place their licenses with them without joining the Board of Realtors, the local MLS or maintain Errors and Omissions (E&O) insurance, if your state law allows. If you are working with a LIFRO you can refer business to an active Nextage franchisee or agent and earn a referral fee if and when the closing occurs. In fact, a referral agent whose license is held by a LIFRO can even build a Nextage sales team, and earn bonuses on the production of their own team.
Q: Which states are Nextage Realty approved to do business in, and have franchises?
We are approved in all states except North and South Dakota, However, if we have sufficient interest develop in these states, we will execute the approval process.
Q: Can I build my team with several agents in multiple states?
Yes, just as we have no limitations on the number of agents you can have on your team, there are no geographical boundaries either. Opportunity reaches outside you immediate area, and you can develop a team that includes agents across the nation.
Q: What is the cost to join Nextage?
We charge a one time application fee of $125, and for each subsequent year, on the anniversary of your activation, you pay an $80 technology fee.
