First Nextage office in The "Old Dominion." Nextage is now part of the Historic Virginia Landscape.
Welcome Helen Chapman, our first Virginia Nextage family member. As a former RE/MAX broker and owner, Helen has been in the business for 16 years, operating her indepndent ReMax office, HRC Properties. She's spent 25 years living and working in the Northern Virginia area, so she knows it well. Helen relocated her office to Falls Church, Virginia, a suburb of Washington D.C, in 2005 and she's built a fine reputation of dedication and service in Northern Virginia and its environs.
Recruiting entire branches and merging existing real estate offices into the National Nextage Franchise family is one of the most telling characteristics, and a huge vote of confidence for the Nextage business model. As for the beauty of Falls Church, Virginia, and it surroundings, what better place to hang the Nextage shingle, with it's proximity to renowned Washington D.C. landmarks, museums and art galleries. Washington D.C.,and its Northern Virginia suberbs are a treasure for their great ethnic and cultural diversity. Northern Virginia schools are consistently ranked among the highest in the nation. It's a great place to live work, and sell real estate. A big Nextage welcome to Helen and her new Nextage team.

First Albuquerque, then Santa Fe and now Rio Rancho. Nextage Realty is taking Arizona by the horns. This "Land of Enchantment," is already home to our Nextage Preferred Properties Offices, owned by Thomas Mestas. Thomas came to the Nextage Realty through our partnership with Casa Latino. He quickly saw the opportunity to start building his business with Nextage, and in 2011, he's shown he's not ready to stop growing, adding his Ria Rancho office to the fold. Congratulations Thomas! We're all celebrating your success and the success of Nextage!

You do the math. But let’s just say this -- 2011 was the second year Nextage International has been in business, and $1,000,000 was paid out in bonuses. Terrible twos? We don’t think so.
You read that right. Many other national realty firms offer sales bonuses, usually based on net profit. Nextage bases its sales bonuses on revenue -- how much money agents bring into the firm, not just what the mother company earns on that revenue. Big, big difference. This $1,000,000 figure for 2011 bears this out. This is what happens when you “BUILD a business, not just DO business®.”

It’s a great way to start 2012. Nextage Realty is experiencing a surge in growth, realtor by realtor, and in this example, company by company. Arizona-based Independence Realty Professionals is joining the Nextage family.
The new Nextage presence in Arizona will take the form of a partnership between our existing Nextage Property Solutions and Independence Realty Professionals.
The conversion brings four new Nextage offices to Arizona, as Independence will convert all of its offices in the metro areas of Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert and Scottsdale. The new company will take on the Nextage Property Solutions name, and will incorporate the existing Nextage branch in Fountain Hills, Arizona, for a total of five offices in the state.

Here’s our first installment of a new Realtor self-help series.
If you are a realtor, the Holiday Card carpal tunnel syndrome may cause you some pain, and though the wine and cheese baskets from the Mortgage Brokers may help, we know what realtors really want for the holidays: some quick, cunning and cute comments to throw around at the holiday parties. When the eggnog takes effect, and words fail you, you can use these. Some have worked for me in the past. Please pass them on to others of our kind, and if you’re lucky, you’ll run across an agent that hasn’t heard all of them them already.
-
“The only difference between a cult and a religion is the amount of real estate they own.”
-
“If you want to know exactly where the property line is, just watch the neighbor cut the grass.”
-
“My buyers went through debt consolidation. Now they have only one bill they won't pay.”
-
Sign next to FBSO: "We shoot every third agent and the second one just left."
-
“Next to the author of real estate advertisements, the autobiographer is the most suspect of writers.”
And the most appropriate for today’s market:
-
“The dream of the older generation was to pay off a mortgage. The dream of today's young families is to get one.”

Nextage Added an Average of One New Office Per Week in 2011
Not a bad record. Since its inception in 2009, Nextage has established 80 franchises across the U.S. about 50 of those offices added in 2011 – an average of one new Nextage office opening per week in 2010. Nextage is booming, and every week new franchisees and agents are choosing to work for Nextage for several reasons. Agents are building successful teams of their own. They’re impressed by the Nextage leading edge web marketing, and a unique, new compensation that is unmatched in the industry. One new office opening per week, and 2011 is not over.
